Transportation and School Parking
The Parking Lots for Students and Families map shows students can park in the green areas, provided they have paid for and received a student parking permit. The application for the student parking permit is located in ParentSquare. Parking permits cost $40 per school year.
If a student would like to drive to school and park without a permit, they can park along 4th Street and 46th Ave West. Students cannot park where residential parking permits are required.

Bus Zones

If you drop your student off for school in the morning or pick them up after school, please avoid doing so in bus drop-off or pick-up zones. This includes the small parking lot near the main entrance (identified as a red square for Visitor and Staff Parking in the map above) as well as along 44th Ave West. Please leave these zones clear of traffic during drop-off and pick-up times so that students can safely board and disembark their school bus.
Transportation Requests
The District provides transportation services based on distance guidelines established by the School Board. Current guidelines state that high school students must live one or more miles from school to be eligible for transportation. Please be aware students who attend Denfeld but who do not live in the Denfeld area are not eligible for transportation services.
If your family/student is returning to Denfeld and has not had any changes in address or school assignment, transportation for your student should remain the same as the previous school year. Students eligible for transportation will be able to find their busing information by mid-August in Infinite Campus.
If your family is new to Denfeld this school year, the District's enrollment and transportation offices will initiate transportation for the student. If the student has an address change, please complete the Household Verification form on ParentSquare. Any changes to your students’ bussing can be made throughout the school year by sending an email to denfeldattendance@isd709.org.
If your student will need transportation to two households, a Dual Custody form must be completed and submitted every year. These requests do not carry over from year to year. The District allows students to ride one alternate route, in addition to the primary route, for shared custody or student care needs only. Students cannot ride on buses they are not assigned to. The Dual Custody form is available by emailing denfeldattendance@isd709.org.
