• 8:00am - MANDATORY Rehearsal, Denfeld Auditorium
• 12:00 - Lunch, Denfeld courtyard (one meal and beverage provided per student); commencement speakers practice speeches in auditorium
• 5:30-6:00pm - arrive at Denfeld (enter through front doors); go to Media Center / West Commons
• 6:30pm - line up in 2nd floor hallway
• ~6:45pm - students begin entering auditorium
• 7:00pm - ceremony begins
• 9:30pm - All Night Grad Party

• If you are not present you will not cross the stage with your classmates. There are no exceptions. If absent, you will be able to pick up your diploma after the ceremony or on Friday, June 11.
• Light breakfast provided at the beginning of the morning. 

Q: What if I have to go to work on graduation day ​and ​can't be at rehearsal?

A: It is your responsibility as a Senior to request the date of graduation off. Make your request now!

• Doors open at 6:00pm, guests enter via the external auditorium doors, NOT the front doors of the school. 
• The main entry is for graduates and for persons with mobility issues ONLY. (See “Special Seating Requests” below)

• Please DO NOT call the office. Tickets cannot be obtained other than by following the procedure outlined below. 
• Tickets are handed out at the end of mandatory rehearsal on Thursday, June 10th. Each student will be given 5 tickets to start. Graduating siblings will receive a single set of 5 tickets to start.
• *Everyone must have a ticket to attend. There are no exceptions.

Q: What if I don't need all 5 tickets?

A: You give back the extra so they can be distributed to other students who need more.

Q: What if I need more than 5 tickets?

A: After everyone has received their initial 5 tickets, students who need more may get back in line and receive one additional ticket. You may keep getting back in line as many times as you need until the tickets run out. If you do not receive as many tickets as you need, you will not be able to have everyone attend the ceremony. (Example: If you need 13 tickets and are only able to get 8, only 8 of your guests will be able to attend.) We cannot give out more tickets than available seats in the auditorium. Students - please consider reserving your tickets for family, rather than friends or partners. The office does NOT hold extra tickets in reserve.

Q: What if there is a guest attending graduation who cannot maneuver stairs?

A: A form will be sent out to request special seating for guests who need special accommodations. This would include guests in wheelchairs, those who cannot navigate stairs (including those with temporary injuries, such as those needing crutches), and those who have visual or auditory impairments. Look for the form in ParentSquare, in students' email, and in the weekly Newsletter from Principal Tusken in May. The guest who needs special seating will be permitted to have one additional guest sit with them in reserved seating. These are the only guests who will enter the building through the front doors of the school. The remainder of the attending party must wait in line outside of the auditorium entrance to select seats upon entering.

Q: Will the remainder of the family/group be able to sit with guests who have reserved seats?

A: Seats that have not been formally reserved are available to whichever guests gets there first. We cannot reserve seats for those beyond the scope of the special seating request.

If you do not pay any outstanding fees, fines, or return any school- or district-owned materials, you will not be able to cross the stage with your classmates and will not receive tickets to the commencement ceremony. There are no exceptions.

Q: Can I get my cap and gown package early? A: No.

Q: What if I won't be at school that day? A: You may pick up your package in Profe's room (2302) any day between May 26 and June 9.

Q: Can I have another student pick up my package for me? A: No.

Q: Can I decorate my cap? A: No, not until after graduation. If you decorate your cap, you will be given a replacement to borrow during the ceremony. You may pick up your own cap after the ceremony.

Q: If I am an American Indian student and I plan to have my cap beaded in the traditional manner in accordance with MN State Statutes, can I get my cap early? A: Yes, but not the gown and tassel. This is the only exception to cap decoration.

• You are encouraged to wear your cap and gown (but not your tassel) on the elementary walks on June 4.
• If possible, please have your gown steamed and wrinkle-free prior to arriving at graduation.

Q: What is it? A: The ANGP is an event held after the graduation ceremony and is for graduating seniors only. It is jam-packed with food, beverages, activities, games, shows, and prizes! The ANGP is not sponsored by the school, it is run completely by a team of volunteers. Thank you to all who work to provide our graduating seniors with this opportunity!

Q: When is it? A: The ANGP will be held at Skyline Social & Games beginning at 9:30pm and ending at 3:00am. *Buses will transport the graduates from Denfeld to Skyline!

Q: How do I register? A: Go to https://denfeldgradparty.com/ to fill out the ANGP Agreement and fill out the registration form.
