Principal

Principal Tusken has been with the Duluth Public Schools nearly 30 years all of them at Denfeld with the exception of one year at East High School. He spent the majority of his career as a social studies teacher and created the curriculum for the elective course Freshman Seminar. Tusken was recognized with the Milken National Educator Award in 2007 and has also been a BARR program coordinator, a dean of students and an assistant principal.

Tusken is a Denfeld High School alumnus. 

My favorite part about being an educator is working with the kids to help them succeed individually and as groups so that they can find what they are looking for as adults in society.
